This project is a fun and interactive game for web browsers. It dynamically updates the HTML pages with the jQuery library.

Here's how the game works:

1. There will be four crystals displayed as buttons on the page. The player will be shown a random number at the start of the game.
2. When the player clicks on a crystal, it will add a specific amount of points to the player's total score. The game hides this amount until the player clicks a crystal.
3. When they do click a crystal, the player's score counter is updated.
4. The player wins if their total score matches the random number from the beginning of the game. The player loses if their score goes above the random number.
5. The game restarts whenever the player wins or loses, and the scoreboard is updated to reflect that.

This project showcases a train schedule application that incorporates Firebase to host arrival and departure data. It retrieves and manipulates this information with Moment.js. This website provides up-to-date information about various trains, namely their arrival times and how many minutes remain until they arrive at their station.

This was an important step in my full-stack journey as I used all the skills and knowledge from the first third of my bootcamp to work with a group to build web application from scratch. With my team, I conceived and executed a design that solves a real-world problem by integrating data received from multiple server-side API requests. Because we worked collaboratively, we practiced agile development methodologies and implemented feature and bug fixes using the git branch workflow and pull requests.

My role was integrating data received from multiple server-side API requests into user-friendly formats while other teammates focused on front-end styling.

Our website was awarded “Most Overall Original Concept” for connecting users with hikes to forage plants.

In this app, I created an Amazon-like storefront. The app takes in orders from "customers" and depletes stock from the store's inventory.

In this app, I created a burger logger with MySQL, Node, Express, Handlebars and a homemade ORM (yum!) following the MVC design pattern. Node and MySQL are used to query and route data in the app, and Handlebars to generates the HTML.

In this activity, I built a compatibility-based "FriendFinder" application -- basically a dating app. This full-stack site takes in results from users' surveys, then compares their answers with those from other users. The app will then display the name and picture of the user with the best overall match. Express handles routing, and the app is deployed to Heroku so other users can fill it out.

The Ally App is a place where people can go to learn more about how to combat racial inequalities, view media resources that aid in combatting those inequalities, get assistance from people seeking to be allies, give assistance, and start petitions.

This full-stack, MVC (Model-View-Controller) application allows you to create help posts and petitions (POST), update those help posts and petitions (PUT), delete them as needed (DELETE), and view hundreds of resources from different tables (GET).

"EvenCuriouser" is a full stack application to help teachers and students have a better teaching and learning experience.

School in 2020 has been hard for everyone, and jumping from one application to another was a common complaint from teachers, students and parents.

This application was designed to try and bring all of the links, assignments, grades, and messaging systems into one centralized location. Making school - whether it's face to face, virtual, or hybrid - seamless and easy for everyone.

Whenever a user visits this app, it scrapes the most recent stories from Deseret News and displays them for the user. Each scraped article is saved to the application database, then displayed using a GET request. Users then have the option to save an article, which PUTs it in the "Saved" collection. This collection of saved articles is displayed on the "Saved" page. Here, users can POST comments on their saved articles.
